Good writing is more than just the artful arrangement of words. There is a magic that arises when strategy, language and story intersect elegantly – and magic makes things happen.

That magic might not necessarily be of the fairy godmother variety – wands and magicians are in short supply these days. But when readers can feel your story, rather than just reading it, that's powerful. If that feeling drives your reader to action, that's magic. (And good writing.)
